  Dr. Ashwani Kumar, with a career spanning more than three decades, excels in political science, governance, and public policy. He has engaged globally, from students to government officials, enriching scholarship and fostering a blend of literary traditions. Recognized for his academic prowess, he earned a prestigious ‘Senior Fellowship’ from the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).

Dr. Ashwani Kumar has held significant roles in governmental bodies, including the Central Employment Guarantee Council (CEGC) and leading a Ministry of Rural Development Task Force.

Additionally, he is celebrated as a prominent voice in Indian poetry in English, with anthologies such as ‘My Grandfather’s Imaginary Typewriter’ receiving widespread acclaim.
