In Cinema, despite its late entry, sound now occupies as important a position as do visuals. Having established the importance of sound in our life, a student attending this course will learn both the technical and creative aspects of the recording process. Students practice on state-of-the-art equipment used in professional studios and upon completion will be able to successfully work in any avenue of the sound recording industry.
A Sound Engineer is a person who understands the importance of the sound track, which works in conjunction with the visual image. Sound and picture share a symbiotic relationship and the result is pure magic-The magic of Cinema.

Surround sound mix workshop by Shri . Ajith Abraham George for 2019 batch (27-09-2023 to 30-09-2023)
The four day surround sound workshop was meant to introduce the students to the technology and aesthetics of surround sound. Surround sound immerses the audience into the scene of action. The workshop conducted by Ajith Abraham George was an elevating experience for the students. The lessons learnt from the workshop would come in handy when the students embark on the 5.1 surround sound mix of their diploma projects.
